Captain Robert W. Hayler, a member of the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1941, is the son of Vice Admiral Hayler. During a twenty-nine year career, he served in the FANNING, GEARING, HARMON, HUNTINGTON, GOODRICH, and JOHN PAUL JONES.
